May 7th marks the 14th Annual Worldwide Labyrinth Day. People around the globe participate in moving meditation for world peace and a celebration of the labyrinth experience. Many “Walk as One at 1” local time to create a rolling wave of peaceful energy passing from one time zone to the next, but there are many alternate ways to participate. EricsHouse will participate again this year by hosting an event in the morning to avoid the hottest temperatures of the day (May is sometimes already more than 100F!).
We’ll gather at 10am indoors to -learn about Labyrinths as a meditative path; -to draw a classic labyrinth; and -to collage a Chartes-style labyrinth. All supplies will be provided. The event is free, but a $10 donation to cover supplies and support EricsHouse would be appreciated. We’ll share in a meditative “walk” with our newly decorated hand-held labyrinths at about 11:30. If you choose to physically walk the labyrinth in the yard, we suggest you walk at 9:30, before the event, or bring a hat or umbrella to walk as One at 1pm.

Additional note: EricsHouse will host the last Spring Full Moon Labyrinth walk on Sunday, May 15th before pausing for the hot summer months. Please join us at 7:15pm.
